I am used to seeing Cherimoya's have less of these bubbles and much flatter skin. I have atemoya tree as well and it has pronounced like like the one in the picture above

I think it's an atemoya. Was the flesh a little fibrous?

I'd lean towards atemoya.....but it could be either. Afterall, the bumpy texture on most atemoyas comes from the cherimoya side of the breading. A look inside might be of assistance, but will not be conclusive.

Looks like an atemoya.

It could be an atemoya but my gut feeling is it's a White Cherimoya. here is the post from last year:

It might be an El Bumpo Cher but usually those are longer.

That is a Dr. White cherimoya as my tree produce
the same fruit shape.

I think that is an Atemoya. I too have a 'Whites' Cherimoya. But don't think this is a 'Whites' Cherimoya. I agree that the Whites has those protuberances but are far less symmetrical and consistent than the ones like in the above picture. As well, the protuberances on a Whites are far more knobby, where as the ones on the above fruit are far more segmented.

My vote = Atemoya
