Clay soil in a rain forest is not a pineapple's friend. After a trip to Costa Rica and seeing what they did to grow them, I decided to try a raised bed with fast draining soil. Thanks for everyone's input in the plan.

We finally made it....drum roll please:

On a hill, so we only needed 3 sides. 2nd bed behind this one, higer up hill. Of course, we forgot drainage holes, so that will be next.

But I got 21 plants in (probably could have fit more).
