Double simultaneous Bloom / fruit cycle?

I have what I think is a Madame Frances mango and a while back it bloomed and now has little 2-3" fruits.

Last week the branches that had no fruit on them erupted in blooms. Is this common?

RE: Double simultaneous Bloom / fruit cycle?

Hi gnappi...it seems more common this year that past years. I've read on the other tropical fruit forum that many are experiencing this same thing you are describing. I'm sure our wild weather this winter has a lot to do with it...very warm for weeks on end, then very cold, the roller coaster weather warm and cold probably caused it?

I have 5 mango trees that have tiny fruits while other branches on the same tree are just starting to bloom...
