I recently bought some of the 90% powder off of eBay. Not for seed germination but for an attempt at stopping mango flowering. From what I've read it doesn't dissolve easily in water but instead dissolves very quickly in rubbing alcohol. I am sure if you try long enough with water it will dissolve though. I used less than a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol to dissolve a tiny scoop of gibberelic acid then I added water and sprayed it on my tree. The buyer I bought from on eBay included a really great sheet on usage that you might find handy. If the buyer you buy from doesn't send you any info email me and I can email you a scanned copy of the usage info.

Thank you for replying to the posting Murahilin, I ordered from the same guy I believe, and my aim is to use it on seeds for the most part. Seems like 500ppm is desirable as a standard and I just wasn't sure how to dilute and how much. Would the rubbing alcohol be safe to use on seeds...probably as alcohol just evaporates?

It also works on citrus. If you spray it on the flowers you will get seedless fruit.

I'd like to use this on germinating seeds like ylang-ylang that are hard to germinate.

Does anybody know what is the normal concentration to spray on tropical fruit trees to achieve more growth and production??? I believe 500ppm is for germinating seeds.
