'Black Star' Surinam Cherry opinions please

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a long time. Hope everyone is doing well after a mostly mild winter! Has anyone tried the "Black Star" Surinam cherry fruits before? Places like Top and Jene's have them available grafted. Are they worth it and how would you compare them to Barbados Cherries. Basically, why would you have them in your yard?

I bought four Black star bushes, the fruit turned out terrible. I would have been better off with barbados cherry or guava. I'm pulling them out and replacing them with guava this weekend
