I did plant one out that I bought at the Broward Rare Fruit Council sale a year ago....or was it two years....now I am not sure. It might be two years in May. I am hoping for my first fruit this year. The tree looks like this.

I had heard mixed reviews about the fruit quality. But if a whole continent goes bonkers for it, I figured I might as well give it a shot. It seems to be pretty disease resistant so far and has set fruit at or better than the pace of some of its contemporary plantings.

Went back and checked. I bought this tree in October of 2009. No wonder it didn't seem like it was a year ago or two years a go.....it was a year and a half ago at their fall sale.
