please does anyone know where i can purchase one or two lychee trees in the bay area? south bay?east bay?

You can ask Regan's nursery in Fremont to special order..you might even ask HD. The one close to my home in the eastbay had Mangoes to my surprise.

hi stanofh, i asked regan's nursery if they would order it and got a big "no they can't get it" i just thought of sloat garden center might do it. thanks
i wish i could grow mangoes, i think its too cold,where i am, but lychee is a possibility at the redwood city house. have you tried growing mangoes?

Hi sffog...I used to live in Redwood City many years ago...my Dad still lives there :o)....Nice area!

Good luck with growing lychee...I was way too young then to even think of growing fruit trees but I know it can get pretty cold there in the winter...
