Air layer sugar apple?

James-hoon

I have some questions regarding air layer sugar apple tree and hope you guys have answers for me.

I have a friend who have sugar apple tree but never fruit. I'm not sure if this is from seeding or grafted, but it has been there many years at least 6 years. Now the tree is about 6 feet tall with many branches and growth.

Question is if It is worth to air layering from this tree? Will I get any fruit from new tree (if I success air layering), and how long? Can I plant sugar apple in container and get fruit?
