Anubody have a fruiting multi trunking Mango?

Funny but my Mango did well this winter with only a T shirt for cover. It was the winter of 2012 that had a single 32f degree night cut it down to mid trunk from 7' tall. That tree might have been weakened from fruiting that summer before.
So here we are in May 2013 and its coming back strong with four main branches. Its no longer a graft- that died. Its now mostly Haden. Would it work to just leave it alone? No pruning,no thinning? just let it work out whats what?
Who in marginal- very- Mango climates has seen them cut back, grow back with a few trunks..and fruit?
