..um.....it has to be nectarines and not peaches???

Hey Mangodog, you got any recommendations on low chill peaches? I already have many low and high chill peaches and nectarines. I even have some High chill peaches and nectarines that have flowered and are holding fruit.

I had Dekopon seeds that I ordered off ebay but only one seedling survived but that doesn't matter anyways because I was contacted by the USDA and they are going to pick up the seedling that grew from the seed. At the time, I wasn't aware that even citrus seeds couldn't be purchased and shipped to quarantine areas but I totally understand why they have to take the seedling.

On a happier note, the seed that I found from the fruit I purchased at Nijiya Market sprouted and I have 3 seedlings growing nicely but they are all clumped together and I decided not to seperate them. I will grow them all up as one plant and I can share budwood with the locals that are interested. We have to follow the USDA rules though and I believe I can only share budwood with people in our quarantine area. The seedlings are still very small, only about 1 inch tall and it will probably be a year or two before they are large enough to take buds off of.

Well good luck with that..and it was NOT a white peach I had as a recommendation for you but a yellow....looks like Rodney has a good one though....
