Question about 'Tropical Pink' Guava

In doing some re-landscaping down in the south part of our yard, I found what I thought was a dead tree/bush. As I cleared out the debris around the base of this poor plant, I discovered that it is sending out shoots and has a few leaves down at the base of the plant. I found a hang tag from LaVerne nursery that identifed this poor wee tree as a Guava 'Tropical Pink'. My question for those of you familiar with different guava varieties: Is this a grafted variety, and am I probably looking at the rootstock sending up suckers, or is this variety usually propagated from seed? If it's a seedling, I'm going to transplant this poor guava to a better spot in our yard where it will get full, warm sun. Right now it's in a very cold pocket of our yard, and getting virtually no sunlight, as it's under the canopy of a large Empress tree. Thanks so much!
