Tangerine blooms - now what?

About 6 years ago I planted a tangerine seed in my classroom as a project with my students and our tree is now about 5 feet tall. I never assumed it would produce anything, but it makes for a neat houseplant, and I know it will probably not grow true from the parent fruit.

We potted it up about two months ago and it's flowering like crazy right now. Is there anything we can do to increase the odds of it producing something? I have zero expectations out of this, but might as well give it a try, right?

If it's indoors, you might try taking it outdoors in the hope some flowers get pollinated by bees or butterflies.

It's outside right now... we usually take it out as soon as the snow melts and leave it there til first frost. The huge thorns on it keep the deer at bay!

So if it's already outside and bees can have at it as they wish, is there much of a chance it will self-pollinate or does it need to cross?
