It is coming along slowly- no change at all actually.
Not too exciting at this rate!

while the leaves of cherimoya, squamosa, reticulata, atemoya... look very similar, this one looks different..

my kampong mauve squamosa has much smaller leaves then my lisa atemoya. my rollinia is somewhere in between

those leaves look larger than my atemoya. they all have that flat finish.

Yes, these leaves are much bigger than my other annona things. The largest ones being about 8-10 inches long and about 3-4" wide. And they start off brownish and have hair on the leaves.

Your soncoya leaves look just like the leaves on my seedlings. Where did you find a grafted tree?

I got it from a local place. I think it is from a place in Mayaguez: jardin eseneida
It didn't have a variety name or anything.
It was growing a branch from below the graft that I was tempted to leave on the tree, but decided to cut it off. Who knows, maybe the seedling fruit would have been great.

Today I checked on the soncoya and that poor little dried up bud is now more than double the size. Plant is going through dormancy, so it is loosing its leaves. Any day now it should push out new leaves and maybe it will bloom soon. I will post pictures and progress if something actually happens.

Well, of course, I missed it the day the flower opened.
But from the fallen petals, it looks like it looked like a soursop (guanabana), but pink. It did not get fertilized :-(

I am hoping for better results this year.
