Will potted Dragon Fruit plant ever bloom in northern climates.

On a whim (yes, I know, one should never buy pets or plants on a whim), I ordered a small dragon fruit plant a couple of years back. It's in a clay pot, and has grown dramatically, with many, many stems and multiple plants, since I keep sticking in the pieces that fall off and they root.

However, it's actually kind of an ugly cactus, sprawling, and it pokes me all of the time when I'm near it.

I winter it indoors, of course, and outside in sun in the summer, which it loves.

Just wondering, could it potentially bloom some day? I have a "Queen of the Night" Epiphyllum oxypetalum, a red Epiphyllum, and Christmas cactus that bloom. Treat it the same way and it might bloom some day?
