Why do you say that - I thought they were polyembryonic?

I dont know much about them
just what i read here. and that was my impression.

i thought i remember reading they would grow 2 sprouts
the second being the one that is "true"
(is that all mango, or just some? which ones ???)

but, i only saw one sprout.
so, even if that is true,, i dont know if it was the first,
or second sprout ?

I never noticed that two sprout theory. I know like you Larry/greenman I bought a yellow Mango that had no name (not (Ataulfo or Champagne) that to me tasted like the best small yellow Mango fruit I ever had...and I planted two seeds. I should have planted more.
As I understand it,all those small Mangos- including Manila- grow true from seed. Did yours say from Mexico and the grower and some numbers for an id?
And last..I lost that label. I had put it aside..not sure where it went.
