Mango Flush Colors

Is there a source of information on utilizing the colors of Mango growth flushes as identifiers in variety? I searched the web and cannot find specific information.. I realize that some varieties are very similar, but it could rule out obvious mismatches early stage, no?

Lemon Zest - Dark Purple turning Light Purple

Pickering - Bright Gold

Maha Chanok - Red

Sounds like a great idea. Not sure how helpful to the colorblind like me lol. Sorry, I can't describe the colors accurately.

I'm growing this unknown mango with its first fruits. I always thought it was Nam Doc Mai. Do the photos agree?

Flush 1.

Largest fruit, fist-size.

Smaller fruit with flush.
