Lychee Day at the Garden Shop

The Garden Shop of Flamingo Gardens will again be open this 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:30 AM- 4:00 PM. By popular demand, this one day only event will feature fresh Lychee fruit for sale from only $6/lb. as well as Lychee trees and fresh sugar cane juice.

The Garden Shop will have available the ever popular Mauritius Lychee fruit, along with the outstanding Sweetheart variety, with its larger, luscious fruit and smaller seed. In addition to our usual array of tropical flowering plants, we have also procured a limited number of the best Lychee tree varieties for your planting pleasure--- Mauritius, Sweetheart, and the later maturing variety, Brewster.

Stop by and see fresh guarapa de cana, or sugar cane juice being processed. As a special treat for your sweet tooth, try this liquid tropical confection and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Flamingo Gardens horticulture department!


Entry to the Garden Shop of Flamingo Gardens is free, of course.

Members, please bear in mind, we have drastically reduced our prices in the garden shop, essentially extending the member discount (and then some) in order to maintain the feasibility of opening the garden shop for these special sale days. Therefore, at this time no additional members discount is being offered. Rest assured that you are still receiving the best quality and most unusual plants at a great price!
