| I was in on the Hawaii purchase made by Murahilin a while back of some grafted Maprang/Gandaria. Mine was the cultivar "Kai." I neglected to take a picture of it when I first got it. I also neglected (accidentally, on purpose) to take a picture of it when it went almost completely bald, dropping probably 50 leaves, leaving only 7 straglers. Now that it is flushing out, I figured I could share, without too much embarrasment, how it is doing now. It has some small limb die back, but otherwise seems to be on its way to survival. |

| Looks pretty good. I am sure in a few months it will look better than mine with the more suitable climate you have down there. I bet you will be tasting maprangs next season. |
