Maprang/Gandaria

I was in on the Hawaii purchase made by Murahilin a while back of some grafted Maprang/Gandaria. Mine was the cultivar "Kai." I neglected to take a picture of it when I first got it. I also neglected (accidentally, on purpose) to take a picture of it when it went almost completely bald, dropping probably 50 leaves, leaving only 7 straglers. Now that it is flushing out, I figured I could share, without too much embarrasment, how it is doing now. It has some small limb die back, but otherwise seems to be on its way to survival.

Looks pretty good. I am sure in a few months it will look better than mine with the more suitable climate you have down there. I bet you will be tasting maprangs next season.
