Today I had a very early midsize tree ripened Valencia Pride Mango off my tree. The mangos on that tree are normally good but this one was truly exceptional "one of the great ones to remember" In fact the best tasting mango I have had this year beating out alot of other very good ones. The flavor and texture were about perfect. I'm guessing all the dry hot weather helped produce a really intense and flavorful mango. That said the fruit from my Carrie tree was just ok and I normally really enjoy that type.
