Why is my Cherry Rio Grande not fruiting?

I planted my Cherry Rio Grande in 2007 when in was 3 ft tall. Now it has grown almost 15 ft tall and it hasn't fruited since it was planted. Over the years, I saw some blooms here and there. This year, I found a dropped off dried fruit and that was my first sight of any fruit at all from this tree.

I wonder why it is behaving this way? I thought a tree that big should be able to bear fruit already. Other than that, the tree looks very healthy. It has been pruned several times over the years. I'd appreciate any feedback about your experience with your Cherry Rio Grande and what you do to make it fruit for you.
