Here in phoenix, I like to let my mango trees dry out a bit then flood the 25 gal pots to the brim to water them leeching out the hard salty water we have.. maybe I let the Nam doc dry a little too long and is started to wilt its leaves and the newer branches look wrinkled like a prune, I spoke to our local mango nursery here and he has had this same issue with his Nam doc trees, as well as the Nam doc ones he sells at the nursery.. he calls it vampire disease because it looks like the life is getting sucked out of the tree, he doesn't think its underwatering but possibly a fungal thing or virus?
Can I do anything to help the tree or is it a goner?
.
Ive had this tree for a few years and this year was firstly time it set and keptfruit until just now when they droppedsbout the size of small lemons
What sucks is I pruned a nice rootstock growth emerging from the trunk a couple weeks ago, shoulda kept it to maybe see if only the graft dies out
