Makok has me totally confused

I picked up a nice sized Makok Sapodilla late Dec 2011 that had a few gumball sized fruit. It was also blooming at the time but didn't set any more fruit.

Early this spring, it started blooming again and has been blooming every since. Recently has it started setting new fruit- they are the size of a small pea.

It is still hanging on to one larger fruit that was on the tree when I bought it. I *thought* the others were ready a couple months ago- I know what color to look for when scraping them... but alas, they were nowhere near ripe.

So, I am guessing the tree has two fruiting seasons here in FL? The fruit on the tree when I bought in in January almost had to be from a winter bloom- I can't image they would have still been that small if they were from the prior summer?

When will the new fruit likely ripen?

And when the heck will the fruit from last season ripen up? I'm guessing it is between 8 and 9 months old at this point.

Thanks
