Best Guava Varieties ??

I have a plain Psidium Guava
i am looking for scions to graft a couple of different types to it.

Can i do this with Strawberry Guava since it is a different species ?

Also,, am looking for the best types
(tastiest)
I hear Mexican Creme is good...
