how long does it take for jaboticaba to grow that big? my seedling from ebay is probably dead due to root rot and it wasn't big to begin with.

I never asked about the age of the plants, but it takes 12 years as an average for jaboticabas to fruit and both of the larger ones have fruited. In fact the plant in the first photo is flowering right now. I'd guess the age to be around 12 - 15 years. The smaller jabo has not fruited yet but I expect it to do so this year.

Awesome Trees Ray!! I especially LOVE the Sweetheart Lychee and the Jackfruit! You're so lucky to be able to grow them without having to worry too much about "freeze protection". Two hours south makes SO much difference temps wise. Good luck with all your new trees. They're all so healthy and Huge!

My thought is this.....I don't want to be on the root side of a tree before it blooms. And as far as the lack of a mango...I have a 100 gallon Glenn waiting to be planted in October when I go back down, :o)
