Looks like pretty standard bloom/fruit/blossom development location for jaboticabas as I know them. Let's see how large the fruit gets and what they look like when they are ready to be enjoyed. You must have had mature fruit before. I know there are several related sub-species of jaboticaba in Brasil.I have grown only two. My current trees are all seedlings and seem to be virtually identical. I had a tree of a much larger fruiting variety years ago. I think I got it from Gene Joyner...who was the extension agent for Palm Beach County at the time. Unfortunately, it died in a flood some time ago. What's your experience with the fruits in prior years with regard to size color and taste??

I have seen quite a few Jaboticabas fruit at the branch tips just like that. Its just a different cultivar or Jaboticaba, same exact fruit and growth other than the tip flowering.
