They started turning yellow and falling off the tree.
i thought they were supposed to get bigger than this ?

also, a few of them have the bumpy skin, but many (smaller ones) do not, im wondering if they are dropping pre-maturely ?

I never had a tree-ripe guava before
not sure what it is superposed to taste or look like ?

thanks

They should smell ripe- strong-musky and will become very soft. Taste them.

    yes, absolutely strong musky odor
    and soft.
i cut the small one open, i wasnt sure if it was bad or not ?
putting them in the fridge, maybe the heat changes the smell, its real hot out there

The inside will be a uniform color. Most tropical fruit tastes best at room temp. in my opinion.

its like 95 outside, i cut it open after it cooled in the frigde a bit.

MUCH better aroma, didnt taste bad, but the seeds were a pain.
I need to figure a way to juice them... maybe the blender and just leave the seeds in?
