My Abiu has not been doing fine here in Miami Beach. Any of you would be able to guess what is happening. Could it be antrachnose? Thanks for any help that you can provide, David
I don't really have any specific information about growing abiu, but judging by the new leaf growth it seems that whatever caused the leaf damage is not present anymore. And I saw similar leaf damage on one some of my Garcinia plants. It was almost like it came over night. Still don't know what it was. I don't have that leaf problem anymore.
If it is related to lack or excess of nutrients it may well be lack of them as my soil is very poor. I just fed all my fruit trees with a 8 3 9. So we shall see
Abius don't like salt. I asked Chris Rollins about this once and he said to keep an abiu planted near the beach sheltered from salt exposure. Are your plants open to the sea breeze or ocean spray?
