Small banana's and Mango's for sale.

These aren't even the smallest variety for sale. They had one type half this size in plastic for sale. I should have bought that too. This Asian market had about 7 or 8 different nanners and Plantains.
Also..Sea Food City in Union City ca has "Carrie" and " Valencia pride" Mango plants for sale . 75$...Same for Lychee.

By the way,these Banana's? If you eat them before they are fully ripe- not just yellow- they have a strange taste of a sort of numbing flavor. Hard to describe..

Why bump down? This is educational!

Hi Stan, that's interesting about the taste having a numbing flavor. I love those bananas that are thick and larger (not sure what the variety) is...I slice them length wise and fry them in a little bit of oil...its not Plantain though at least the ones I see in the stores labeled plantains are long and thin...Unfortunately, I live in a small town and have not been able to find those large thick bananas here...I've seen them in larger city/town in an Asian type market...
