Hi! Just for kicks, I planted this Rose Apple seed (called Jaam locally in India or Jambos) about 8 years ago. The plant is currently nice and healthy, except that it hasn't flowered even once. I've been told that it can take several years for plants from seed to bear fruit, but am I being too optimistic here? Is it true that there are some Rose Apple plants which will bear fruit and some which won't?
