I went to visit a new Central Florida/Orlando area GW'er. Jen of JenPeteFL just bought a house in East Orlando with an existing garden. It is very interesting, I told Jen she needed to hook up with Angela/Sunworshipper. Jen is interested in growing tropical fruit, and there are some trees and small shrubs on the property that I don't recognize. The previous owners were hispanic and also have banana's, sugarcane, malanga, a thorny citrus, some other thing that froze and is coming back with a vengeance.
For example, I think this might be Longan? What do you all think?

If you click the album link you can see other views of the small tree.
