Mango Cold Hardiness Question

My wife's uncle recently bought a three acre property in Clewiston, FL (Zone 10) and he was interested in planting a few mango trees. Do you guys think that it would be cutting it close or is he still within the mango's hardiness zones?

It can be done there but there will always be that risk. The Clewiston area does seem to get downright chilly during those winter cold snaps. By properly caring for the threes he should be able to have success. If it were me, I would go with varieties that could be kept on the smaller size to allow for ease in protection when the cold snaps blow through.
