| Well, purple flower that is. The fruit is the usual green. But it's also upright instead of hanging down as is common with bananas. |

| i think once the fruits get heavier it will start to bend the stem and hang down. |

| No, they stay upright all the time. The fruit is quite small and the bunches small as well. I just realised, those are the actual flower bracts, not the fruit, in the photo. Often doesn't develop fruit but when it does they are much smaller than that and have seed. |
