when I first read of this fruit, I wanted it.

Seeds sprouted readily and at first growth was good.

Then nothing else happened, and now, after three years I am left with four thread like plantlets, of no more than three inches high.

They have healthy foliage, but don't grow at all!

I planted them in a potting medium of pH 5,5, and after that the leaves became an intense green, and they live outdoors in our sub-tropical summer, while in winter I bring them into the home at room temperature: they don't grow in summer and they don't grow in winter.
