Time to eat my dragon fruit

So after many years of disappointment, my dragon fruit finally hold it's fruit. Yes, just one this year. I have three different variety, magenta, red, and yellow. Well, I thought this one is the magenta one....but I was wrong after cutting it in half. It's not pink or red...but white! Not sure what happened but the size of the fruit is small but inside is not pink. The fruit was ripe on the vine so it was very sweet. I wonder what variety this is. Small in size, pinkish skin, and white inside. I got the magenta cutting from an ebayer...guess he sent me the wrong variety...arrggg!

thats what you get from buying/trusting an ebayer for something like this :)

Yeah, I bought 4 bananas and the guy left out of the box the one I wanted the most, he refused to send it and just refunded the money.

They also said they "GROW FAST" but all my other bananas i took cuttings from have outpaced the three I got from Ebay two+ fold in growth rate.

Caveat Emptor :-)

PS fruit was the ONLY problem I've had there. I make hundreds of other purchases there with no glitches

6 yrs ago I didn't know where to buy tropical fruit trees other than ebay. That guy had a nursery and he seems to be nice. I trusted that he would send me the correct variety. I also bought all of my tropical fruit trees from him but of course most die...except for my soursop and dragon fruit. I spent hundreds of dollars and only this two left.:( I now will not buy tropical fruit tree from ebay since you can not trust them! I also got the santol from ebay and that guy said it was a grafted one...but of course I could not find any graft line.

Only buy tropical fruit tree from a nursery since if they sent you the wrong one they might replace.
