My first bit of advice is to take and post pictures that are in better lighting and are more clear and close up. It is hard enough to figure out which plants are which, never mind trying to give you any meaningfiul advice on a particular plant's problems. It would also be helpful to post your written comments/questions just before or just after each picture you post so that it can clearly be understood what you are referring to or questioning.

That being said, you are obviously doing well with your guava. Regarding your "white sapodilla".....where did you get it? I have never heard of it. Have you tried the fruit?

If your plants are not doing well, I would take a look at the soil and water. If your soil is heavy clay and on the alkaline side (happens a lot in socal), the lychee and a lot of the tropicals wont like it.

Get a decent PH meter (about $40-50) and test your water as well. If the water has a PH over 7, its going to negatively effect plants which like PH ranges between 5-7.

Personally if I was going to plant in the ground, I would do 6 months or more of soil preparation. I would till in compost around the area. Also digging out a large hole around the tree before planting, back-filling with peatmoss/perlite/native soil mix.

Mulching generously few times a year with pine bark mulch will help build the soil around the tree. This should help the soil PH stay in the 6-7 range near the tree.

I completely agree with Harry, and Nullzero's advice is very sound. That last mango's picture - against the wooden fence - it doesn't look well at all.

If you could re-post them and add comments as to how long you've had them, what the soil is like, what is your watering schedule, etc.
