Browning tips Avocado...

Hello All!

I have no idea what is going on with my avocado tree. I planted it about 1 month ago, where no leaves fell. I havent seen new growth on my tree, but i have been noticing that the tips of most of the leaves are brown. I dug around the plant to see how wet the soil was. It was moist, but not soaking wet. I have cut back on my watering and have only watered the plant 1 time a week.

What is causing this browning?!

Looks a bit like chemical burn; avocados are fierce competitors at getting food and water from the vicinity of the tree, so don't need too much fertilizer. I regularly over fertilize my garden avocados, so this condition is not uncommon for me.
Aside from your leaf burn, the tree looks healthy; so I wouldn't worry too much. Now that cooler weather is beginning, the tree needs less water.
