OK....so Sapote, my experience is when you clip the flower stalks off it immediately reflowers and will continue to do so if you do it again with those flowers. The thing to do is wait till they form pea sized fruitlets and THEN cut them off. Then it shouldn't reflower.....just a suggestion.....

Yes here in the Philippines as early as October, mangoes start to flower again. I have a mango tree in my backyard and it has flowers, and almost all the trees here in our place has flowers already.

Mangos normally flower in the winter. When they're in the 'wrong' climate they'll flower in the spring. But in this situation they can be a bit confused and become a bit erratic. A lot of breeding has been done to try and force them to adapt but nothing is 100% stable.

Mangodog, I think your suggestion is right on. I try to save its energy but it looks like we have to waste on the pea size fruits.

Anyone in South Cal have flower now?
