Anyone have a chance to sample some Brazil mangoes lately? I'm so curious as to how they taste...

This is a Mallika x Van Dyke cross appropriately called "Alfa." Amazing color! The review for this hybrid was outstanding as well!!

Amrapali x Tommy Atkins cross called "Roxa." Super sweet brix of 20%. Wow!

An improved strain of Duncan by the name of "Supresa" or "Surprise."

I hear they have a very intense mango hybridization program in Brazil. Hope that I'll be able to sample some of these jems soon and without the costly ticket! Don't they look amazing? Van Dyke and Tommy A. really lend their color genetics to their offspring, that's for sure. I would love to see more results of this breeding program in the future.

So, anyone sample these? Ever? I'm so curious...
