should i cut the infected leaves off before it spreads or use a spray? i saw a spray at home depot that i think will do the trick. and its organic :)

Not sure. My first guess was fungus. With the cooler weather, moisture hangs around longer and provides nice breeding grounds for anthracnose. You could spray with copper fungicide if you wanted to.
