Miracle on 34 street!

As you can tell that i am usely on the other forum,but i had to write an article on this forum.Here it goes.I grew up in the tropics the first 12 years and i got to know all the different kinds of mango's because every yard had one so it seems. Most the varieties that are mention in this forum are fruits i am familiar with.Now here is the problem, i retired in Arkansas and all i can grow are asian persimmon and pears. Since i live on a very limited income, i can only wish for a green house that i can grow about 12 mango tree's,6 different kinds only.While i am retired i do have a stainedglass studio that i once in a while get money from and i do have a website that is somewhere in outerspace.So here is where a miracle needs to happen. Between getting to old(73) and not been able to buy anything I can wish that all of you have a wonderfull experience with what you are doing now. Good luck everybody!

The island of Java.Born in thimahi(Bandoeng)then lived in Semarang then surabaya. My brother who now live in Holland flies to Bali and stay for the winter month(5 months). The stories that he tells me make me sick allover.

Manga Golek my choice,next Aro manis(lots and lots of fiber) Golek is a large fruit,more long then thick. most tree's there are large, so is durian,and the stocky jackfruit. Most durian grow wild.My brother tells me the tree's in Bali that are grown at plantations are much smaller.By the way while he is down there he lives with the natives, allmost in the wild.How is that for a vacation?

Welcome P-Bob from Arkansas! Interesting how we find each other and our mutual interest in this new Web-Universe. I bet you do have some on-the-ground experience when it comes to tropical fruits.

Well, I'm a mango man myself and just entering the gates of that brave new world...I feel like a pioneer in my own neck of the woods as i have yet to find a like-minded individual within a hundred miles of me, but it will happen and great discoveries and new friends will be made, so thanks for coming in and sharing, and please share some of your knowledge with us when the chance arises....

and yes, for you, a greenhouse materialized would be the answer to your wishes!
