Way too much nitrogen, at any time. Regardless of NPK formulation, do not want to do anything to promote vegetative growth at this time of year. Once the weather warms in the spring in your area, continue with regular applications of formulation suitable fr mangoes/tropical fruit trees plus any additional minors/foliars/etc. you wish to use.

Or you mean by 0-0-20. I heard fruit trees with sufficient P and K will withstand freeze better.

Man-Go-Bananas, here is a quick breakdown of the 20-0-0:

1. The first number is the nitrogen percentage.
2. The second number is the phosphorus percentage.
3. The third number is the potassium percentage.

You can see that a 20-0-0 is basically a Nitrogen fertilizer. Mangos do not need additional nitrogen. They are able to obtain it from the mulch and decaying matter under the tree naturally. The only reason you would put Nitrogen is if you dont want the tree to fruit but instead you want it to grow. I would not recommend this. What you want is the tree to produce fruit, in that case you would add a potassium fertilizer such as 0-0-50.

Man-Go-Bananas, fish emulsion can kill your young mango tree! I would definitely not use it on mango trees. It is very high in Nitrogen. It is great for vegetables though. :)
