Cherimoya or Atemoya

I bought a Cherimoya tree this summer, it's probably from seed since I can't see any graft line. It didn't do anything when outside, but exploded with mad growth after brought indoors under a growth light. It's not even in the prime location, only half tree is under the light, the other half is in shade, then I rotate it every couple of days. The problem is that the top couple of branches is so bushy with many twigs, the leaves are kind of crowded into each other. It's like a leave cloud.

Given this growth rate, I very soon would run out of room. Would Atemoya be more compact?
