A friend is being ordained as a minister this Sunday. I'm not sure if this is a gift giving occasion or not.

I think it's a non denomination Church. It's not your typical Church. A lot of bikers go there and he belongs to the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association)

My Hubby found a key chain that says God Answers All Knee Mail. Since I'm sure about a gift or not. I thought that would be kinda cheesy to give by itself. So I sat down and drafted a poem to go with it.

Here's a rough draft of what I have so far. Tell me what you think. Would this be appropriate? When I get it worded just right I can get some paper with a nice background to print it on and a frame.

On Bended Knee

I Pray To You Dear Father

Help Me Through Today

Tomorrow HasnÂt Come Yet

And Yesterday Has Gone Away

Remind Me IÂm Responsible For My Own Actions

And Not For What Other People Do

Help Watch Over My Brother's And Sister's Lord

By Walking Closer In Faith With You

Help Me Not Feel Resentful,

Desperate Or Blue

We All Have Tasks

We Must See Them Through

Whether ItÂs Helping A Stranger

Or Praying For Our Nation

On Bended Knee I Pray To You

For Strength And Courage

Wisdom And Love

Help Guide Me In All Things That I Do

Knowing YouÂre Standing Beside Me

And Always will Be

With Each New Day, Brings A New Task

It Brings Me Comfort Knowing You're A Prayer Away

When I Feel Exhausted Lord

Pull Me A Little Closer In

On Bended Knee I Pray To You

When I Lay Down Tonight

Bringing This Day To An End

There Will Be A Smile Upon My Face

YouÂre Not Just My Lord And Savior

But, My Best Friend.
