These days, there is no escape from much of anything. That's known as CARELESS SMOKERS throwing burning cigarettes out car windows.

See it every day on the freeway.

I have been watching these fires on TV, PJ --- stay safe !!

They got the Benbrook fire under control thank goodness. I pray for all those folks in Wise county!!! I'm about 3 miles from the golf course at whitestone ranch.PJ

It really burns me up to see people tossing burning cigarettes out of the window anytime (for the pollution factor) but when we are under fire warnings, it is a real crime that I want more punishment for!!!

I hate people that throw cigs out the window too. Are they blind? Can they not see dry grass? Thanks Pam! PJ

Hmmmm . . . I just picked up a big handful of cigarette butts from that hell strip of my yard between the sidewalk and street. Surely it was the wind that put them there (yes, that is sarcasm). I sure would hate it if one had started a fire in a suburban area. What a disaster that would be. Thank goodness all I had to do was pick up someone elses' gross butts. :-( It is too bad what happened out in Wise County. We could smell the smoke all the way here in Collin County becuase that strong wind blew it right to us. That wind really made it hard for the firefighters to get that fire under control.
