After much frustration and hours spent trying to get it to work I finally figured out it was my ad blocker. I played around with it and finally set it to not block ads on that page. It works now. :)

Ah, succumbed to "Big Brother", now did you?

Funny how we reach the point where we think we have to have something, even if we must endure other things, to get it. (smile)

well, I like my ad blocker and I like my weather maps. :)

But what's Big Brother got to do with it?

It's a "Big Brother" world, now, in case you hadn't noticed. The novel missed the date just a bit, but it has arrived.

Of course, I consider MS and "Big Brother", to be one and the same, myself.

ahhh I see "Big Brother" as government intrusion, not corporations providing a service or product... hence my confusion.

I love being able to 'see' the weather on the way and track the approaching storms guessing if they are going to hit or skirt around me at the last minute. :)

I have a close friend who drives all over DFW for a living. She relies on me to give her a heads up if the weather is going to be nasty while she's out on the road.

The ability to block unwanted ads, etc. is at best, a temporary thing, I reckon. Sooner or later, advertisers are going to become very dependent on the web, and the ad barrage will not only become relentless, you won't be able to block it, because all the web sites themselves, will be desperately in need of the revenue.
