A revolution against industrial agriculture

A friend sent me this article (linked below) and I thought it might be of interest to Texas gardeners.

I had just been thinking of looking up a farmers market in San Antonio. Anybody know of one on the NW side of SA?

I have a friend with a very small farm they keep to raise a few things for their family's own use. Their boys are active in showing their animals at the stock shows.

I occasionally get eggs, chicken, pork and veggies from them. They aren't commercial, but they are kind enough to let me have some of their produce and I am MORE than happy to pay for it to help with the cost of the feed. They are very conscientious and use only the best quality feed for their stock, plus their animals are free roaming.

I cannot begin to tell you how much better the things from their little farm tastes -- not to speak of how much more nutritious it is!!!

Here is a link that might be useful: No Bar Codes on this produce
