We're at two inches......

And counting. The radar shows that this is going to continue for some time. Will get our stock tanks full nice and early in the season. It's been so wet here for so long that I needed to mow the weeds in the back yard a week ago. You guys may need to send a search party by the time it dries enough to get it done ;).

Hits the Pinata with her Daddy
Practices Jiu Jitsu with her Daddy
Feeds Giraffes with with her Daddy
Makes bread with her Mommy (he!)
    Rides bikes with her Daddy
    Kills weeds with her Daddy
Wears boots and plays guitar with her Daddy
    finally
    On request, kisses her Daddy

Kristi, bring some of it with you - I am at less than an inch so far, but hoping for more before it quits. Maybe mine will come on Thursday.

I love all the rain. My grass got greener by the minute and everything grew an inch....well almost!

We ended up with about 2 1/4 inches. The weather I watched said only 1.80 inches, I can't remember the name of the guy that reports it for Granbury, but sometimes he's higher than us and sometimes lower. I'm glad for the rain, but the sun looks nice coming up :)

The rain is a wonderful blessing and I'm so happy we finally got some.
The sun is shinning here now and after a week of nothing but clouds my solar lights no longer work LOL, they need some juice.
Think I might get another cup of coffee and go out side for a bit :)

AWWWWWWW, There's the famous Ed isn't he a cutie. Looks like he doesn't mind the water, HEHEHE watermelon dog.
I've had a hard time getting busy with chores inside.
All the rain from yesterday and last night makes it so easy to pull up but it's going to take a million years to ever get weeds in control, at least if sure feels that way.
All right I'll be a good girl and go get house chores done.
Pouting the whole time while doing them LOL....

We got .75" and my rain barrels have lots in them, also all my plants are smiling (including the grass/weeds that need mowing:)! Hoping we are past the whole drought thing for everyone! I'm having problems with inside chores too-outside beckons (during the rain I repoted the front porch tropicals and some house plants:) CJ
