When I got up at 7:00 the temp was about 35.

And it is raining. Perfect timing, as the yard man put down fertilizer yesterday.

Good for you Kathy, I woke up to snow. Still having flurries but it's mixed with rain now. Will probably only get up to about 38 or 39 here today...

LOL, Carrie don't be sorry. I cut a big bunch of them this morning and brought them in. They are beautiful and are brightening up the house wonderfully. It's just nature's way I guess :).

I do not know the name. I was surprised when it began to show color. I guess it was in with some that were given to me.

Julie, no they have no fragrance. I would be even more pleased with them if they did. They are Dutch Irises, just popped them in the ground in the fall then waited and waitd and waited. Looks today like they fared just fine even with the snowy mantle :)
