Wash out nursery pots? I'm too lazy and have never had problems with reusing them just as they are. I use mine when I dig up plants for a plant swap. All the plants survived and as far as I know are still growing in other gardens.

If you do want to "wash" them, then just rinse them out with water from your hose.

I've heard of bleaching them and all that. I'm also lazy and the stuff I grow tends toward hardy/aggressive. PJ

I only worry about "sterilzing" flats that I start seeds in. Sometimes I don't even do that!

Once they're above ground and have their first set of true leaves, they better be able to handle some unsterile dirt in an old container!
