I've seen ONE! I need a lot more. For crying out loud I have enough native flowers to feed a bazillion of em!PJ

I don't know if putting out my feeders early and keeping them changed made any difference - this is only the second year I've fed them. I wish I could get some of the ruby-throats or other colorful birds. I did see some last fall.

PPB - I've been "gathering" plants all spring to attract them, but I STILL don't have them in the ground. Ya'll better look out when I get them planted - you may never have another hummer! ; - )

hrmph. Well, if he doesn't get them in the ground he'll have a plant heaven - literally. I saw *one* hummer looking for our old feeder and it didn't seem to see the new one, and I haven't seen another.

1. don't have the right camera--the one I have can't zoom enough.
2. they're so fast--they zip in and out before I have a chance to even think about running for the camera.
3. I don't have the time to just sit there waiting on 'em either.
